Sarah Glenn-Leistikow

Sarah Glenn-Leistikow is the Deputy Executive Director, California at Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO). Sarah joined CEO in 2013. Sarah supports the 9 California offices at CEO in executing and managing all aspects of the program, as well state-wide policy and external relationship management. California operations have grown from 3 to 9 offices since 2013, serving nearly 3,000 participants annually.
In addition to her work at CEO, Sarah is a licensed attorney and has served as a pro bono attorney for the Alliance for Children’s Rights, advocating for clients’ access to education and a volunteer at A New Way of Life Reentry Legal Clinic. She has been in reentry work in various forms for the last 15 years. She has also worked as an employment attorney and as a high school history teacher, helping to found a small public high school in the South Bronx, New York.
Sarah holds a JD with a specialization in Critical Race Studies from University of California Los Angeles School of Law (2011), and an MA in Arts and Teaching as well as a BA in English from Tufts University.
