Jamal Williams is the Director of Program Improvement of the Center for Employment Opportunities. Jamal joined CEO in 2018 with the launch of CEO’s 20th site in Detroit, MI as the Job Coach & Retention Specialist. Over the nearly 6 years Jamal has worked at CEO his contributions to the launch of new offices, training of new staff, and building of best practices in coaching, process improvement and program delivery support has spanned the entire organization. Prior to joining CEO Jamal, served as the Founding Principal Consultant at Growth Consulting, an organization that looks to bridge the gap between workforce development and workforce resources for people and organizations looking to grow their socioeconomic footprint by connecting development coaching and funding consulting. Here, Jamal created opportunities for nonprofits and small businesses to reach new levels of success through building foundational skills for their entities in decision making, problem solving, and analytics. 

As a native Detroiter, Jamal graduated from Wayne State University with a B.A. in Mathematics and has mastery in Salesforce front end logic, Lean Processes, Project Management and Performance Improvement Analysis.
