Cynthia Y. Brackett is the NYC Regional Director at the Center for Employment Opportunities. In this position, Cynthia oversees the vocational services portfolio and CEO’s social enterprise, comprised of over 30 NYC community, municipality and employer partners. Cynthia also plays a crucial role in managing NYC’s policy work and relationship building with elected officials and diverse stakeholders. In the 14 years Cynthia has been with CEO, she has been instrumental in introducing and incorporating evidence based practices to the CEO model.

Prior to joining CEO, Cynthia held positions as a parochial school teacher and restaurant owner. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Masters in Counseling from the College of New Rochelle. Cynthia is also an active member of the community, serves as an advisory member on the Women's Foundation's Justice Advisory Committee and is an alum of the CORO New York Leadership 32 cohort.
