Chris Pearson serves as the Director of Advancement and Major Gifts at the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO), where he leads the cultivation and stewardship of major donor relationships.

Prior to CEO, Chris held various development leadership roles with community-driven organizations, including Hands On Atlanta and Gideon’s Promise. He has raised over $16M for various nonprofits, including individual, corporate, and grants/foundations giving.

Chris holds a Non-Profit Management Certification, Working with Social Disparities of Hispanic, Latino, Caucasian, and African-American Children and Families Certification, and has extensive experience partnering with community organizations, event management, and leadership development. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Benedict College where he double majored in Political Science and Psychology.

When he's not attending a community event, Chris can be found jogging a trail around Atlanta, trying out a new food spot, or taking in the breeze from a beach.
