Black History Month Business Spotlight: DelShawn

Meet DelShawn, our featured entrepreneur, this Black History Month. DelShawn's journey began with a referral by his probation officer, who led him to the CEO. Starting as a crew member, he swiftly joined the Talent Acquisition team as an ELP intern and now thrives as the Outreach and Retention Specialist for CEO Michigan.

DelShawn transformed his challenges into opportunities by founding 3D Real Estate Solutions, a testament to his passion for real estate and the rehabilitation of properties. "Real estate gives me a chance to express my creativity and build something lasting. With the right investments, real estate can be very profitable, which motivates me to continue working towards financial freedom."

Inspired by the true story of pioneering African-American bankers in the 1960s, as depicted in the film "The Banker," DelShawn's entrepreneurial spirit is driven by a desire to carve out a space for justice-impacted individuals in the business world. His advice to others in similar situations is simple: "Don't give up because your life can literally change in one year."
