Mindy Tarlow wins WCBS “Women of Achievement” Award
Mindy Tarlow, the Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director of the Center for Employment Opportunities, was one of the five winners of the inaugural WCBS Women’s Achievement Awards, presented by Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
All five women were nominated by peers based on leadership, influence, and dedication to their communities. A distinguished panel of judges unanimously choose this group of five for the awards. The panel included Nancy Abramson, Executive Director of The Wall Street Journal; Jill Schlesinger, Editor-at-Large for CBS Moneywatch.com; Fran Reichel, VP of Clinical Oncology Services at Cancer Treatment Centers of America; and Pat Carroll, WCBS Morning Anchor.
Mindy Tarlow is the CEO/ED of the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO), a nonprofit corporation headquartered in New York City that provides employment services to men and women with histories of incarceration. CEO has offices in Upstate New York, Oklahoma, and California.
The award ceremony was held at City Winery in New York City on December 5th.
