POSITION SUMMARY
The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) is a nationally recognized, dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to providing immediate, effective and comprehensive employment services to men and women with recent criminal convictions. CEO is seeking a parttime Social Worker to work Mondays through Wednesdays from 1:00p.m. to 6:00p.m., with occasional evenings.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Facilitate group parenting skills sessions three days a week
- Counsel participants individually as needed. Counseling may include participant’s partners and /or children.
- Provide conflict management, both through own efforts and through referrals to CEO’s contracted mediation service as needed.
- Encourage and assist participants in setting and achieving long-term and short-term goals.
- Observe and document the interaction between participants and their partners and/or children, as well as their interaction with other participants in groups.
- Track participant progress through other CEO programs and record all contacts (personal and by telephone) in the Salesforce System.
- Assess client’s needs and refer clients to appropriate services.
- Conduct evening group sessions as needed for participants employed or unable to attend daytime groups and/or activities.
- Maintain case records and document all activity in our database, Salesforce.com
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

- Successfully engage fathers in the parenting curriculum
- Enter 100% of class notes and participant interaction summaries into Salesforce.com

Education: MSW required
Experience: Three to five years related experience, Experience conducting groups and individual counseling with families.
